The company took part in voluntary actions and donated gifts to the children assisted by the Association
In December, the headquarters of the Associação Brasileira Beneficente de Reabilitação (ABBR), located in the south of Rio de Janeiro, opened its doors for a special Christmas party. The protagonists of this celebration were the children served by the Association and their families, who came together on December 19 to celebrate the year 2025. The action was supported by Lorinvest and Grupo Valsa, which, in partnership with New Wave, organized the donation of Christmas presents for the children.
Preparations for this moment began back in November. In a true wave of solidarity, New Wave mobilized its employees to support the activities. As well as answering the letters sent by the children to Santa Claus, the volunteers also came together to pack the presents that would be donated and supported the organization of the event on the day of the party.
The action collected around 800 toys, benefiting the children who received up to three toys each. It was the first time that the company had joined forces with one of its investors, including a partner company, to carry out a social impact action.
Bruno Ferraz, Director of Sustainability, Human Resources and Communication, comments on the importance of these actions: “Supporting institutions like this is in line with New Wave’s values and unites employees’ personal purposes with the company’s objectives, which have the Sustainability agenda in their DNA.”
